Download one of these installations.  When you open the downloaded file, the Windows Installer will start.  Then just follow the installation instructions.

Please note that our software is protected with a Cinnamon Software Inc. code signing certificate.  If you get a version of Double Agent that isn't signed by Cinnamon Software Inc., then it's not ours, no matter what the copyright says.  Depending on where you got it, you may be suspicious of unsigned software when a signed version is available.

Microsoft™ Agent is still available for Windows 7 (for now).  You can get it from Microsoft by requesting Windows Hotfix KB969168.

However, Double Agent is actually more complete and more reliable.

Double Agent and Microsoft™ Agent can coexist on Windows 7, with the following limitations:

• The Microsoft™ Agent hotfix must be installed before Double Agent. If you've already installed Double Agent, you must remove it before installing the Microsoft™ Agent hotfix.  You can reinstall Double Agent after the hotfix is installed.
• If you install the Microsoft™ Agent hotfix while Double Agent is installed, you must remove the hotfix first, then remove Double Agent, then reinstall them in the correct order.
• There will be limitations in Double Agent's ability to emulate Microsoft™ Agent.  When you use the Double Agent control panel to enable Microsoft™ Agent emulation, it can only apply to the current user.  In addition, any application that runs with administrator privileges (i.e. "as administrator") will not recognize the emulation.
